We have an exciting opportunity for a Gender in Emergencies Advisor to join the Disaster Risk Management Unit (DRMU) at Plan International UK, to support the development of Plan International UK’s disasters and emergencies portfolio.

Plan International UK is a global children’s charity. We work to give every child the same chance in life.

In this key role your main responsibilities will be:

  • Providing gender equality technical support to the delivery of the programmes
  • Contributing to engagement with country offices and with relevant internal and external gender working groups
  • Working closely with a key multilateral partner and its membership to develop tools, guidance and training that support the promotion of high quality gender mainstreamed education programming in humanitarian settings.
